Mom's Night

Before spring break, the twins class had their Mom's Night. I was treated to a little pampering, 5 year old style! I got my hands massaged with a scrubbed and lotion. A Good thing about having twins is that they each pampered a hand. Joe wasn't too crazy about touching the scrub or the lotion but he participated with a face that was priceless. We went on a scavenger hunt that rewarded me with hugs, kisses (on my face and chocolate ones too), and a back rub. Again, bonus with twins, i got double the kisses and hugs and rubs! Then we made our own jars of sugar scrubs. Such a cute idea and easy: sugar, olive oil, and 10 drops of scented oil; mix together and dump in cute mason jar; tie with ribbon. Another great thing about twins...I got 2 scrubs! We ended the night decorating cookies! I can't say enough about their teachers, Jonathan had them last year and now the twins. They are so creative in their teaching techniques and prepare the kids for kindergarten above and beyond my expectations! I'm begging them to stay for 5 more years so Hannah can have them!

Silly Kids

It's a cliche, but time does fly by! And I don't have much time as it is, but here is a brief update on the Patnodes:
Jonathan- doing great in Kindergarten! Loves building Legos, playing with his brother and adores Hannah. In the picture you can see the boys in their "hunting" gear... They like hunting for Bigfoot, thanks to their father for allowing them to get hooked on the show, Bigfoot Hunter. I enjoy hearing the kids try to say Sasquatch.
Joseph- by far the most energetic of the clan! Does fabulous in school, loved his gymnastics and basketball, and will soon start soccer. He is quite funny with the things he chooses, such as a mustache from the machine at the dentist...oh Joe!
Caroline-is nothing but GIRL! Loves dancing "like the shake it up girls" (if you don't know google it), loves lip gloss and changing her clothes a million times a day to meet her play needs. She is athletic as well and can hang with Joe in basketball and will start soccer soon too (as well as Jon).
Hannah- IS ALMOST 1!!!!! I cannot believe it! She has been walking pretty steady for a good month (our youngest walker), loves watching and "playing" with her older siblings. Has had 4 double ear infections in 3 months, so we are headed to the ENT today!
Love these kids so much! What fun to see them grow!
