We had a few days of rain on and off so we kept busy doing other fun things than playing on the beach.

YUM!This is the only picture we could take of the potato chip factory...no pictures allowed inside! IT was a short but interesting tour. You walked down a LONG hallway right next to the manufacturing plant glass windows with posters explaining every step in the potato chip making process. The kids loved it...and the free bags of chips at the end!

My mother took us on a little driving adventure here and kept promising the kids they'd see fishing boats unload their fish. She did not disappoint! This was so cool to see! The boats pulled right up and dropped off their load. I especially enjoyed my mother telling me a story about her and my father coming here years ago and geting fish from the store (small gray building to the far left) and it being one of the best meals she had had. We discovered that the kids enjoyed clam chowder while here as well! Thanks MOM!!!
